It’s the last day of the month already! Is it just me or did February fly by in a whizz? I hope you had a good weekend too.
I feel like I have done purple skittlettes a hundred times already and here we are again. I am not sure why I end up with this colour scheme but let me show you anyway 😉
I started with 2 coats of Morgan Taylor – Gilted in platinum on my ring finger and on all my other nails I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Violet-vibes. I then left that all to dry completely while I made the decals. For the decal I used BM604 and MoYou stamping polish in black. I then filled in some of the pattern with Essie – Sittin’ pretty. I just used one image and cut it in half to use half on each nail. I then applied the decals to the middle of my index and middle finger. On my pinky I added a coat of Morgan Taylor – Let them eat cake. I topcoated everything and that was that.
What do you think? It wasn’t perfect but in real life the little mistakes were not even visible. I do have a swatch for you as well.
China Glaze – Violet-vibes
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a bright neon purple creme. It dries with a bit of a matte finish as is normal for neons. With a topcoat it is shiny and a smidge darker. Its a beautiful colour from the Electric Nights collection.
Thanks for reading,
Your manicure looks great!
I’m doing on something similar at the moment but I’m afraid mine won’t look as good as yours when it’s done 🙂
