Hello lovelies,
Did you have a good weekend? It feels like mine was super busy yet if I try to think what I did it hardly feels like I did much. I did though. I knocked quite a few things off my to-do list but in the process ended up adding a bunch more. What did you get up to?
I felt like I was running around a lot the last few days so I am showing you some super lazy nail art that I actually really like.
I started with 2 coats of Morgan Taylor – Rebel with a cause on my index, middle and pinky and then 2 coats of Essence – New York city call on my ring finger. I left that to dry completely. I then stamped using Pueen104 and Mundo de Unas – Light gold on my index, middle and pinky. On my ring finger I stamped using Pueen104 again and Mundo de unease – Red wine. I topcoated and that was that. See, super easy and simple. I do regret covering Rebel with a cause up so much because that is one stunning polish. Let me show you.
Morgan Taylor – Rebel with a cause
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. This is a deep berry / wine red packed with red and purple shimmer for DAYS! It has a beautiful formula and fantastic opacity. In some light this polish tends to lean a bit more brown on me but it has happened to other polishes with a similar undertone so I suspect it’s just how it reacts on me. These photos hardly do it any justice (and I’ve struggled to find accurate photos that do) but let me show you a little macro.
This was taken in my light box and you can see the beautiful shimmer but you can’t see it shine.
This was taken under my lamp and you can really see how packed with shimmer it is. This isn’t really colour accurate but it gives you a good idea of the shimmer.
What do you think? Is this nail art a bit too lazy? Did I cover up Rebel with a cause too much? What do you think of this beautiful Morgan Taylor? I hope you have a fabulous week and I’ll see you on Wednesday!
Thanks for reading,

That shimmer is stunning! And who cares if stamping is ‘lazy’, it looks awesome!

You’re right, because stamping is still beautiful right? Thank you!
