Essence – Next stop: Summer trend edition

Hello loves

How is your week going? It’s been a good busy week so far.  I feel like it has gone by so quickly.  It was just weekend a few hours ago right? I am looking forward to the weekend already.

As if a complete range update from Essence isn’t enough they also gave us a trend edition.  You can find this range at Dischem but hurry, it is limited edition. The collection is 4 polishes and 1 topper.  Each bottle of polish has a flower ring attached to the lid and I adore these.  They are the same colour as the polish but imagine how cute it would look if you mixed and matched. Before I show you the polish I just have to mention the colour issues.  I tried to show more of the bottle to show the ring that is included with each.  I feel like this didn’t help the colour issues.  My concern is always making sure the polish is most colour accurate so even though my skin colour looks off, the polish is more accurate.  Ok, let me show you the polish

This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  This is a very light mint creme.  It has a really nice formula and is very opaque for such a light colour. I really like the colour, it’s super light but the hint of mint makes me think of mint chocolate chip ice cream.  It’s very summery.

This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  This is a watermelon pink creme with a great formula.  This is also quite opaque and a really pretty colour.  I think this is my favourite colour of the lot and the flower ring is also the most vibrant.

This is 2 coats with no topcoat.  This is a white creme.  It’s not always easy to find a white polish that is opaque, even and bright white.  I feel like this one ticks off all the boxes.  2 easy coats to get a nice even white finish.  I was quite impressed.

This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It is a peachy creme.  This isn’t super unique in colour but it has a beautiful formula and applies so well.  It’s also pretty opaque, possibly the most opaque of them all.

What do you think? Have you picked up any from this collection? Which one would you grab? I haven’t grabbed the topper from this collection but from everything I’ve read it is really pretty but quite subtle.  I will probably grab it the next time I see it.  Let me know if you grab any and what your favourites are.

Thanks for reading
