Hey guys.
How is your week going so far? It still feels like Monday to me so it is indeed a bonus that it is already Wednesday.
This is another situation of the polish standing on my desk and I just knew I had to use it. I am such a sucker for a beautiful polish and I am compelled to use it. Which doesn’t say much to be honest because 99.9% of the polish in front of me is beautiful. Let me show you the polish and then what I did with it.
ILNP – Kings & queens
This is 2 coats with no topcoat. It’s a gooooorgeous linear purple holo with flashes of deep burgundy red. It has a fantastic formula and is also really opaque (guess what is coming up in a Tuesday stamping soon). This is so stupid gorgeous that I couldn’t stop staring at my hands. You can also see here how strong the holo is as it shows up beautifully in the lgihtbox. Let me show you what I did with it.
I started with the 2 coats of ILNP – Kings & queens on my index, middle and pinky and 2 coats of OPI – Super star status on my ring finger. I then stamped on my index and middle finger using Moyra 61 – L’amour and Mundo de Unas – Silver. I topcoated everything except my ring finger to keep the texture and that was that.
I must be honest, I didn’t really love this. I liked the idea but it just didn’t seem to come together well. I am not sure if it is the lace image I used to stamp and should’ve opted for something a little more delicate and lighter or if it was the glitter in Super star status that seemed a little too gold. But the polishes are still pretty and it kind of works together right? What do you think? Do you have this polish? Do you also think it is gorgeous or is there another ILNP that you think I should rather try?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
I love the combination of colors! I think you’re right that a more delicate stamp would look even better… and now I want to try it out myself! *sends a nasty glare at the stack of work that is waiting for her*
