Yup…two posts today. I am always really excited about these triad posts so this is a good day for 2 posts right?
It’s time for another Friday Triad with Juanita and Joyce . So once a month we will make turns choosing someones nail art to use as inspiration for this post. You can look forward to these posts on the last friday of each month. This month it was Juanita’s turn to choose and she chose this gorgeous design by Olga from @son_nail. I really like the original and the monochrome look but I knew I wanted to do a colour version of it. Of course, I was torn with which colour that would be (as usual) but let me show you what I came up with.
I started with 2 coats of Sally Girl – Mint chip on my index and middle finger and 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black on my pinky. I taped off a section of my ring finger and then added 2 coats of Essence – New York City call on the exposed tip. Once everything was dry I stamped on my index and middle finger using Lina – Feeling Shapely 09 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I then stamped the various leaves on my ring finger using Lina – Summer 01 and Summer 02 and Mundo de Unas – Black. I topcoated and that was that.
But wait….I mentioned that I couldn’t decide which colour to go with right? Well, now you can help me choose. Here is the other version!
Here I started with 2 coats of Sally Girl – Cherry chip on my index and middle. On my pinky I stamped the colour using Mundo de Unas – Orchid and the full nail image on Lina – Make your mark 03. I wanted it to be the exact same colour I used for the stamping so I opted to use the same polish here. On my ring finger I tape off a section and used Morgan Taylor – La dolce vita. Once everything was dry I stamped the straight lines on my index and middle finger using Lina – Feeling shapely 01 and Mundo de Unas – Orchid. I then stamped the leaves using Lina – Summer 01 and Summer o2 with Mundo de Unas – orchid and black. I topcoated and that was that.
So what do you think? Which one do you like more? I really like the mint version but pink…….
