Did you have a good weekend? I was absolutely useless this weekend and did a lot of nothing. It was very hot and I basically just played games and watched movies under the aircon. Of course, I have major regretskies today when I look at that to-do list ;). What did you get up to?
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is Stars and I was quite excited for this one. My biggest issue was deciding between vinyls or stamping. In the end vinyls won because I just adore the starry night vinyls from Because I shop. Let me show you what I did.
I started with 2 coats of ILNP – Nostalgia. While that was drying I used @clairestelle8 #doublelayervinyls technique to make the stars. I put the vinyls on my mani mat and started with a coat of Sinful Colors – Black on black and then did a coat of the holo. I used Color Club – Eternal beauty, Color Club – Harp on it and Color Club – Over the moon. Once it was all dry I removed the stars individually and randomly placed them across all my nails. I topcoated and that was that.
I wish the holo was more visible but I quite liked it regardless so I wasn’t too bothered. I think between the chameleon polish and the holo there was a lot going on. What do you think?

Ooh, I like it! I think you’re right there is a lot going on with both the base and the stars in a special finish, but stars are always special, right? 😉
