Hello lovelies,
Did you have a good weekend? South Africa is full of celebration and cheer and it’s wonderful to see! I could probably have had a bit more sleep but I am so ready to take on this week!
Time for another week of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.Image

The prompt this week is half moon and even though it’s not really something I gravitate toward, I don’t really mind it too much. As luck would have it I had a terrible nail break and with it, went my inspiration. I knew I wanted to do something simple so I just went with the classic half moon. Let me show you what I did,

I started with 2 coats of OPI – Getting Nadi on my honeymoon and let that dry completely. I then stamped the half-moon using Lina – Feeling shapely 09 and Mundo de Unas – Light grey. I topcoated and then went in with a matte topcoat.

Simple, quick and easy. Even though I had zero inspiration I did end up wearing this for a few days and it was a nice colour combination. Why do I always feel so meh when I have a nail break? It’s not like I can’t do anything with short nails. I do think it is a little more limiting and there is less space but I it’s silly right? Here’s hoping they grow fast and the inspiration comes back!
Thanks for reading,
