Hi lovelies,
It’s a new week and a new month! Happy June!! I seriously hope June is better than the last few months have been. This week too come to think of it ;).
Time for the next prompt of #52weeknailchallenge hosted by Polish Portfolio. As always, you can follow this # to see what other people are creating and you can find the list of prompts for this year below.
The prompt this week is science and it is one of the ones I wasn’t super excited about. Not because I don’t like the prompt but because there is only so much science nail art I can think of 😛 I did quite like what I did this time but I am well aware that this is not unique or different at all 😉 Let me show you what I did,
I started with 2 coats of China Glaze – Combat blue-ts on all my nails. While that was drying I started with the stamping. I stamped using BM-H23 and Mundo de Unas – White. I then used a thin nail art brush and China Glaze – Lime after lime to fill in the test tubes in the stamped image. Once everything was dry I applied the stamping to my ring and middle finger. I then added 2 coats of Salon Perfect – Kaboom to my pinky and index. I topcoated everything and then went over my ring and middle fingers with a matte topcoat.
I actually really enjoyed these colours together. This blue is just heavenly and works well with so many other colours. I also have no idea why KaBoom feels quite ‘science’ to me. What do you think? Does it work? What science nail art can you think of?
Thanks for reading,
Joyce
I like it… a lot! It just looks happy and summery and there’s science in there as well… works for me!
