Naturals Beauty Hydrating Masque

A couple of months ago I won an amazing face mask from a giveaway on  Mother City Mom. The mask I won is the Hydrating Masque from Naturals Beauty.  You can read Mother City Mom’s view about this product (and others) here. Thank you so much for the prize Bronwyn!

Of course I had to try it the very same day that I collected it from the post office.  This first thing I have to mention is the smell.  It has a beautiful lemongrass smell that actually was so relaxing.  If I wasn’t paranoid about drowning in the bath I am sure I would’ve fallen asleep.  I by no means think this is what it is supposed to do but it was such a lovely smell.  This is a hydrating and purifying mask.  From the second I put it on my skin it felt so cool and soothing.  I have really sensitive skin and within minutes I can feel if a product doesn’t agree with my skin.  I either have a burning sensation or itchiness very quickly.  This mask stayed on for the whole 20 minutes with no reaction.

Naturals Beauty is cruelty free and that is a major win in my book.  They also use only natural ingredients.  This was my first experience with one of their products and I am so impressed.  This mask left my face smooth, moisturised and feeling healthy and fresh.  Almost every other mask I have ever used has left my skin feeling very tight and dry after use.  I usually can’t wait to rub my moisturiser all over my face when I am done.  If you ask me that defeats the purpose.  With this Hydrating Masque, I was left with my skin feeling so soft and smooth and not even a little bit dry.  I didn’t even feel the need to touch my usual moisturiser.

Doesn’t that sound amazing? My skin looked and felt amazing after use and I also had a beautiful ‘glow’.  The above would explain exactly why.  The mask also had such a great texture and was so easy to apply.  It was the perfect consistency.

I absolutely love this masque and really enjoyed the whole experience.  I will definitely be getting more of this when I run out.  I am also quite excited to try other products in the range, specifically the exfoliater and the coconut mint lip balm and…..Who am I kidding, I want it all 😉
