31DC2016 Day 09: Rainbow nails

Hello lovelies,

Yay for Friday!  It’s finally time for the weekend.  What are you getting up to?  Do you have any plans? I will probably working on the challenge 😛

Rainbow nails is always a fun but tricky one.  Let me show you what I did.

I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Snow me white on all my nails and left that to dry completely. I then used the zombie dots vinyls from Because I Shop and sponged on the gradient to create the rainbow going across my nails.  The colours I used were: China Glaze – Violet vibes (purple), China Glaze – DJ blue my mind (blue), China Glaze – Treble maker (green), China Glaze – Lemon fizz (yellow) and China Glaze – Red-y to rave (red / orange).  I then topcoated everything and that was that.

I messed up a few of the dots when I didn’t make sure the vinyl was flat and the colour bled a bit but all in all I think it came out ok-ish.  What do you think? Check our more rainbow nails using the InLinkz thingamabob below
