Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a spectacular week and that the weekend is been better. I don’t have much to say because I am writing this in advance and probably don’t even know where I will be 😛 Hope to see you all soon! x
I really do like myself some dry brush nail art and I have seen people do some pretty amazing looks with the technique. I sometimes struggle to get the perfect look myself because I either overdo it or don’t do enough strokes. I also usually want to do something with it so before I know it, I’ve ruined a completely fine dry brush look. I also really like the look of metallics on black so I thought I would combine the two. Let me show you what I did,
So I started with 2 coats of Sinful Colors – Black on black and left that to dry completely. I then used China Glaze – Adore (pink) and China Glaze – Cherish (green) to do the dry brush strokes on the black. I topcoated and that was that.
I wish there was more distinction between the green and the pink. This also looks very much splatter like and dry brush like but…..I liked it anyway. I think the metallic on the black was pretty striking either way. What do you think? Do you think it looks like dry brush or more like a splatter?

Love the colors but I think you might be right in thinking that it may look more like splatter…
On the other hand, I shouldn’t say anything because I haven’t done even one manicure that I cared for using dry brush and this one looks pretty, even if it’s sort of a splatter-dry brush 😉
The thing I have learnt most from this post is that not enough people have done dry brush 😛 Thank you so much for the compliment. I am still not sure I pulled it off but at least it wasn’t a total mess. I have lots of total messes 😉
